Good morning world!
This morning after we had breakfast, we left for our final full day at Endeavour Schools.
Endeavour Schools
Today some of us had an opportunity to get a preview
of Endeavour School's Annual Drama production.
This year they are putting up the all-time classic, 'Wizard
of Oz'.
We finally grasped the scenery that we were painting recently.
It is going to be used as a backdrop for this drama production.
We literally left a mark there at Endeavour Schools.
Western Australia Museum
After school, we quickly went off to the WA Museum. There,
a tour guide and an Aborigine Elder were waiting patiently for us.
They brought us around the museum and explained to us the origins
and history of Western Australia.
Sadly, we were not allowed to take any photos in the museum. But,
we all walked away with a better understanding and greater awareness
of the Australian culture there. We were most fascinated with the story
the Rainbow Serpent.
Surprise from Uncle Greg
We just had dinner and were making our way back home when Uncle
Greg announced that he had a surprise for us. Even Aunt Ann, our tour
manager, was unsure of what he had in-store for us...
Lo and behold... we finally reached our destination. He had brought us
back to King's Park! It was spectacular!
The view from the park at night was truly magical and stunning! The lights
and the surroundings that we were in made the night seem so surreal.
Although it was very cold, the sight of Perth City by night warmed our
hearts and souls.
After taking in the fresh air and sights from the park, we made our way
back to our hotel for our daily debrief and packed up our luggage before
we checked out tomorrow.
(Pls be patient with the photos. We are experiencing some difficulties in
uploading the pics.)
Good night world!
