Hello Monday.
After a scumptious buffet breakfast @ Ambassador Hotel,
we headed to Endeavour Schools at Port Kennedy.
Endeavour Primary School
The students were checked-in to the schools with their brand new buddy.
Now, that's awesome isn't it?
Students sat in together with them through their day's lessons.
The day's lesson consists of: ice breaker games, drama lessons, science and craft.
The children were excited and had many positive comments towards their brand new experience.
Quoting Layla, she mentioned that she would like to migrate to Australia to study in that school.
The children were amazed by the things the children did during their lesson.
It has its few differences in comparison to Singapore.
They had lessons outdoors and could paint under the sun without breaking a sweat. '
Kings Park
In the Botanic Garden, students were able to relate plants to
the primary five science curriculum on pollination and dispersal.
The guides were able to give us a deeper insight to the various plants and its origins.
To add, they showed us the plants that the aborigines greatly depended on.
Furthermore, they showed us the plant native to Western Australia- The Kangaroo Paw.
Lastly, we caught sight of one of the oldest Boab Tree.
They took six days to transport the tree from North Australia to its current location.
Afterwhich, the kids were treated to delicious Indonesian food- finally they had rice!
Our little heroes are now fast asleep, awaiting a brand new tomorrow.
Good night world.
