Good morning world!
This morning after we had breakfast, we left for our final full day at Endeavour Schools.
Endeavour Schools
Today some of us had an opportunity to get a preview
of Endeavour School's Annual Drama production.
This year they are putting up the all-time classic, 'Wizard
of Oz'.
We finally grasped the scenery that we were painting recently.
It is going to be used as a backdrop for this drama production.
We literally left a mark there at Endeavour Schools.
Western Australia Museum
After school, we quickly went off to the WA Museum. There,
a tour guide and an Aborigine Elder were waiting patiently for us.
They brought us around the museum and explained to us the origins
and history of Western Australia.
Sadly, we were not allowed to take any photos in the museum. But,
we all walked away with a better understanding and greater awareness
of the Australian culture there. We were most fascinated with the story
the Rainbow Serpent.
Surprise from Uncle Greg
We just had dinner and were making our way back home when Uncle
Greg announced that he had a surprise for us. Even Aunt Ann, our tour
manager, was unsure of what he had in-store for us...
Lo and behold... we finally reached our destination. He had brought us
back to King's Park! It was spectacular!
The view from the park at night was truly magical and stunning! The lights
and the surroundings that we were in made the night seem so surreal.
Although it was very cold, the sight of Perth City by night warmed our
hearts and souls.
After taking in the fresh air and sights from the park, we made our way
back to our hotel for our daily debrief and packed up our luggage before
we checked out tomorrow.
(Pls be patient with the photos. We are experiencing some difficulties in
uploading the pics.)
Good night world!

Immediately after breakfast, we made our way to Endeavour Schools
for our day's lessons.
Endeavour Primary School
Today, some of us started with a very interactive
Music lesson with our buddies.
It was our first time and we managed to join in
with our friends to create melodious music. We played
to the tune of 'The Liberty Bell' by John Philip Sousa.
We had an awesome time with our pals here!
Next lesson was a dance lesson! We learnt a few cool
moves from our dance teacher and we're planning to
include these moves into our own debut performance
here in Australia!
Next up we went to visit to KFC for a short lunch.
His Majesty's Theatre
Next up we moved to His Majesty's Theatre (Maj) for a tour
of the stall foyers and the Museum of Performing Arts.
It was a truly magical experience for us as we got to learn about
the history of the theatre as well as walk into the only remaining
working Edwardian theatre.
We also managed to get in touch with the past performers through
the costumes that were on display at the Museum of Performing Arts
at the basement of the theatre.
Afterwhich, we went to Harbourtown Mall for a lil' more
shoppin' for our parents, siblings and friends. Some of us
bought matching mood rings!
Then we headed for dinner at a Nyonya food place. Yay! More rice!
Of course, with more vegetables, chicken, fish and tofu. Nutriously yummy!
Time for bed now everybody. We're all very tired...!

Day Four- Endeavour Schools and King's Park & Botanic Gardens
Hello Monday.
After a scumptious buffet breakfast @ Ambassador Hotel,
we headed to Endeavour Schools at Port Kennedy.
Endeavour Primary School
The students were checked-in to the schools with their brand new buddy.
Now, that's awesome isn't it?
Students sat in together with them through their day's lessons.
The day's lesson consists of: ice breaker games, drama lessons, science and craft.
The children were excited and had many positive comments towards their brand new experience.
Quoting Layla, she mentioned that she would like to migrate to Australia to study in that school.
The children were amazed by the things the children did during their lesson.
It has its few differences in comparison to Singapore.
They had lessons outdoors and could paint under the sun without breaking a sweat. '
Kings Park
In the Botanic Garden, students were able to relate plants to
the primary five science curriculum on pollination and dispersal.
The guides were able to give us a deeper insight to the various plants and its origins.
To add, they showed us the plants that the aborigines greatly depended on.
Furthermore, they showed us the plant native to Western Australia- The Kangaroo Paw.
Lastly, we caught sight of one of the oldest Boab Tree.
They took six days to transport the tree from North Australia to its current location.
Afterwhich, the kids were treated to delicious Indonesian food- finally they had rice!
Our little heroes are now fast asleep, awaiting a brand new tomorrow.

Day Three- Transfer to Perth City
Today marks our last day at Orchard Glory Farm.
The Farm stay was indeed special and we enjoyed every bit of it.
This afternoon, we hopped onto our coach and made ourway to Perth City.
#1- Caversham Wildlife Park
Unlike our Singapore Zoo, Caversham's Wildlife Park is Special.
The kangaroos were left in the open, in a confined spot.
Our zoo guide Tom instructed us to feed the animals without touching their faces and necks.
We fed the kangaroos and felt the koalas and wombats. It was indeed an enriching experience.
#2- Kailis Fish & Chips
Today's lunch was awesome. We had fish and chips from Kailis.
It was very much similar to the fish and chips we have in fish and co.
I must say that Kailis gave us each a generous serving of fish and potato chips. Yum!
# 3- Fremantle Market
It was a bonus to be able to make our way to Perth's very own Bugis.
The Fremantle market has souvenirs of all kinds.
Some girl got candies and even did their very own henna art.
#4- Monument Hill
After Fremantle's, we made a short stop at Monument Hill.
The Monument Hill was one of the highest point in Perth.
We were able to view the whole of Fremantle.
The memorial was built to honor the sailors and soilders who died during World War 1 and 2.
It was also our personal photo-taking session.
#5- Check-in
We checked in to the Ambassador Hotel.
We went to our rooms and called it a day.
Goodnight world.

Day Two- Boshack and Orchard Glory Farm
Before we retire to bed, let us tell you about our interesting day two.
Early AM:
English Breakfast with sausages and orange juice was served.
I must say, these people are sure good with their food.
Double yums!
Uncle Greg, our coach captain, drove us on a really long journey to Boshack.
During our journey we caught the beautiful sight of goats, cows, 28 parrot, horses and even the cockatoos. What was spell-bounding? The meadow of canola flowers. Their pretty yellow petals shone gracefully against the sunlight.
Boshack:
At Boshack, we got treated to home made cream cheese and jam on whole-meal bread.
They tasted so wonderful that everyone wanted to help themselves to a second serving.
We moved on to feed the cows, goats and the horses.
We played Aboriginal games like the Boomerang. Of which is used to hunt for animals. Afterwhich,
we used two metal wires to detect for sources of water. To my surprise, my two wires crossed over each other when there was a source of water ahead of me. Fantastic! WE sat in dreaming stories like how the Aborigins did. We had our little story telling session. Afterwhich, we played with the Didgeridoo. We headed off to watch kangaroos by travelling on tractor. The tractor ride was AWESOME and we also made friends with Jeffa, their female dog.
Orchard Glory Farm:
Today, we bottled wine. Weeehoooo! The process of wine making is indeed tedious.
Thank goodness from all worlds that it only happens once a year.
Then again, the process of storing the wine for perfection takes months and more months and even YEARS!
We also fed the alpaca. We learnt that a woolen jacket, that of an alpaca's, could cost aboust A$1000.
After having felt the texture of the wool, we realized that it could really keep one warm.
We picked oranges and tangelos. Woah! They sure tasted a lot better than the ones we get off the tray from the markets at home.
We wrapped the day by having scrumptious dinner and making a thank you card for Aunt Michelle and Uncle David. They have been awesome and generous hosts during our stay. Also, we had a surprise home party over at Deeyan's as she would be turning eleven tomorrow. Happy Birthday Deeyan.
Learning point of the day:
GRIP- We reflected and related our day's experience and the activities we had in line with our school's core values being Graciousness, Responsibilty, Integrity and Perserverence. We also overcome most of our fears with the support of one another. Kudos!
To be done [MUST BE DONE]: to talk to one another at a volume of a 6 inch radius
That makes our day a wrap.
We have to hit the sacks for an early and long day tomorrow.
Good night world.
